Join Nordisk Friluftskompani for 3 days of adventure and exploration, when you paddle remote rivers in wild scenery. The packraft is a small inflatable and lightweight boat, which can easily be paddled on both flat and whitewater.
With a weight of only 4 kg it fits in your backpack – it gives you endless possibilities for new trips. With a packraft lakes and rivers are no longer a hindrance or something to go around, but rather something to explore and use as a new way of transportation. The packraft is
very stable and easy to learn to paddle, so no paddling experience is required. The guides will teach you all the basics and bring you out paddling easy whitewater in places you normally wouldn’t reach by yourself. Nordisk Friluftskompani will supply you with all the paddling equipment needed, and outfitted with a drysuit, a pfd and a helmet you will be ready to explore the wilderness from a new angle.
We will stay at Rondane River Lodge, which is situated in beautiful Sollia at an altitude of 780m above sea level. A crystal clear river flows through the garden and the nearest neighbor is Rondane National Park.

Rondane River Lodge is a charming little hotel. The cosy hotel rooms are nicely decorated in different colors and all have private bathrooms. The dishes served are based on local ingredients. Elk, lamb, and of course char and trout are important ingredients beside mushrooms and berries from the area around us. Often they add a little twist to the traditional recipe by making it slightly new without removing the identity.
